James Seyffart, the senior crypto analyst for Bloomberg, made a comment at a recent bitcoin conference about XRP that did not land well with its ardent supporters «XRP Army». The event happened sometime today, and the first person to report it was Subjective Views, who had reported the playful jab was made during an interview makes.
In the video, Seyffart started by saying an apology to the audience, but he quickly joked about a token that was not on the screen. Consequently, XRP holders were disappointed with the funny joke that was not well-polished, and he took his Twitter account to show an apology to XRP holders. In the case, Seyffart clarified that his joke during the network conference was well suited to the audience and that he would milly support Ripple during their case with SEC.
Seyffart also revealed that the comment he had given might be a bit of proportion with the support of the SEC against Ripple, and he had given XRP holders a joke they can share. The issue has revealed that XRP holders are very sensitive to how their asset «XRP» is perceived. Additionally, the clarification with SEC is due to the fact that the case might be taking too long, and there might be any order issued by the court.
