Celebrity MasterChef Begins with Intense Competition

The 19th series of celebrity masterchef started with a bang, and the first contestant has been sent home. The popular BBC One cooking show features judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace. For the opening episode, a mixed bag of celebrities, Edith Bowman who is a television and radio presenter among them took to the kitchen. The stars faced intense pressure, having been asked to create a single standout dish using a surprise ingredient and produce two dinner party dishes.

Notably, Bowman reportedly said she was “flabbergasted” and really “over the moon” not to have been kicked out. The judges were over the moon as well as Edith and a number of celebrities who sailed safely to the next round. However, more competition is expected to get even tougher and more intense as the series goes on. The fate of Edith Bowman, Craig Doyle, and Charlotte Crosby among others lies in the hands of Wallace and Torode’s taste buds.
