Chlöe Bailey has once again taken the sports with the release of her long-anticipated second album, Trouble in Paradise. First and foremost, the announcement was a source of shock for her loyal fanbase, #Chlovers. The latter was particularly surprised by the revelation of an all-star list of the tracks with such artists as Anderson.Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, and YG Marley. However, the partnership with her sister, Halle Bailey, may have been the most exciting announcement for her audience.

“Want Me” first single, may be perceived as a natural sequel to their 2020 hit “Ungodly Hour.” The song has been produced not only by Bongo but Subrosa. “Want Me” plunges into the reflection of one of the most common issues related to intimate relationships/">relationships, unreturned love. One of the most memorable pieces of Cheryl ‘s singing in the tracks is “Why is it the ones we don’t want that want us? The harder I want you, the less you don’t want me…”. Cheryl delivers these lyrics in a soul-heavy groove. In turn, it adds a much-needed emotional feel to the aforementioned track. This reunion with her partner demonstrates the unique pair’s chemistry. Furthermore, it allows the listener to once again acknowledge Chlöe ‘s maturation and development of her R&B talent. Therefore, the majority of the audience is likely to enjoy “Want Me” as one of her best-hits on Trouble in Paradise.
