Chlöe Bailey Unveils 'Trouble in Paradise' Album

Chlöe Bailey, the dynamic force of contemporary R&B, has unveiled her long-awaited sophomore album, Trouble in Paradise, via Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records. Arriving as a stunning collection of “songs from my diary,” Chlöe recorded at her cherished retreats to St. Lucia. There, she escapes and feels at ease living a simple life away from the pressures of being in the public eye.

Trouble in Paradise features a blast of emotions from a summer romance—its thrilling fun at the start and depressing end. The standout track is “Might As Well” with Ty Dolla $ign, which sees Chlöe bringing her soulful voice into play, topping the track with contemporary R&B drop of rhythms in a magnificent way. The interesting 16-track production comes as a pure and earnest reflection and expands Chlöe’s versatility, featuring appearances from Anderson.Paak, YG Marley, her sister Halle, and Jeremih, amongst others. As such, Trouble in Paradise feels quite significant and revealing in her accomplished career. In this LP, Chlöe once again evolves and matures as an artist, pushing ahead the barriers of her musical world while keeping up the high standards of introspection and individuality.
