Derby County and Middlesbrough Clash in League Game

Derby County is welcoming Middlesbrough in their first league game at a home ground since they earned promotion from League One. To be more specific, the game is set to kick off at 12:30 pm today, and the Rams side, under the guidance of their head coach Paul Warne, is determined to secure their first points of the season. Warne has made six changes to his entire squad that overcame Chesterfield in the Carabao Cup, and that means that the team’s latest signing Jacob Widell Zetterström will start from the bench. However, the manager has to do without Jerry Yates, who is suspended following a red card he received last week. Besides, both Jake Rooney and Corey Blackett-Taylor are injured and will not feature for the home side.

On the other hand, Middlesbrough will use the services of the likes of captain Luke Ayling, and they have also fielded, what could be termed, as their strongest squad. The two teams have also packed their benches with potential game changers, and fans expect 120 minutes of entertaining football as Derby aims to return to the Championship with a win.
