Eagles Add Armani Rogers to Boost Tight End Depth

The Philadelphia Eagles are positioning themselves for the upcoming NFL season, adding former washington commanders Armani Rogers to the squad. Amid the ongoing, intense training camp, the Eagles continue dynamic reshaping in the team, which hints at their readiness to become a 2024 season’s front runner.

Rogers, who is only 26 years old, left the Commanders in July, bringing some potential to augment the team’s corps of tight ends behind Dallas Goedert. In 2022, he entered the playing field just once and had five receptions for 64 yards in 11 games. Despite having a scarce record of playtime, his young age and the remembrance of previous years’ short episodes of skill manifestation suggest that he may be of some value for the Eagles.

The way in these last days of the training camp will show whether he can seize one of the spots and possibly turn into the diamond in the rough for the team. It seems obviously enough that the Eagles are building an impressive lineup for the next season.
