Eden Park to Host Intense Rugby Clash This Saturday

Highly anticipated rugby championship between New Zealand and Argentina is about to set Eden Park, Auckland, on fire this Saturday 7:05 PM. It will only be the second time that Argentina will face off with All Blacks at the venue and the first time it actually will be a home for the Southern Americans. Eden Park has ever seen this clash only once before, in a 2011 Rugby World Cup quarter-final, and it will definitely be one for the books. Historically All Blacks have been a dominant force in this fixture, winning 34 out of 38 matches. However, if we take into consideration the fact that Argentina has managed to come on top of this rugby powerhouse three times already, Los Pumas will surely not go down without a fight. Both of the teams have put up their strongest lineups and it is set to be an intense clash between two strong sides lead by Beauden Barrett and Julian Montoya, respectively.

Apart from the actual game, weather can also play a certain role. There is an 81% chance of rain, which might not be very beneficial to the overall dynamics of the game. All Blacks are still obvious betting favourites with $1.17, largely because of their winning history at Eden Park. Since 1994, no other team has been able to win a test match, with All Blacks’ record standing at 49 games. Live coverage and streaming will be available at Sky Sport 1, along with alternative commentary on iHeartRadio, Hauraki and Sky Sport 9. Match updates will also be available to those who are following on nzherald.co.nz.
