Fede Alvarez's Vision for Alien vs. Predator Revival

Fede Alverez, the mastermind behind the recently announced Alien: Romulus, has been captured declaring his desire to revive the Alien vs. Predator saga. Baffled by the idea of a shared creative project, the artist suggested that Dan Trachtenberg, the creator of the successful 2022 Predator prequel Prey, also present on Hulu, should attend the session.

Alverez cites the example of Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, who co-directed From Dusk Till Dawn. He proposes that the directorial role be divided in half, meaning that one of the artists will take the pre-production and the other the epilogue. His idea follows the background of the Alien vs. Predator series, which has historically exhibited huge success.

According to CNN Business, the initial movie in 2004 earned an impressive $177.4 million worldwide, making it a lucrative deal for 20th Century Fox. Moreover, the follow-up, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, which was released in 2007, also fared well in the commercial environment, grossing $130.2 million globally. Thus, the crossover continuation directed by two acclaimed artists in the sci-fi genre is bound to succeed.
