Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Brings Marvel Integration

The new season of Fortnite, Chapter 5, Season 4, titled ‘Absolute Doom,’ has now been released and is filled with massive amounts of Marvel content. ‘Absolute Doom’ is announced as the most comprehensive Marvel integration of the game since Chapter 2 and follows the significant $1.5 billion investment of Disney into Epic Games. The new season starts with what is now a familiar format “Hero vs Villain,” a favorite format of the fan-loved season “Spy vs Spy” that introduced Deadpool to the game.

The season’s Battle Pass does not go without a vast amount of superhero skins that embody the characteristics of both Avengers and X-men/Fantastic Four. Such skins bring the characters to life and offer a room of superpowers at the players’ disposal, as well as special weapons. Among the new skins are Gwenpool at Tier 1, War Machine at Level 15, and the skin called Peelverine. The new locations that opened along with the season introduce the Doom Castle and the Fractured Four. Of the many skins and superpowers, the most prominent one will be the trainer skin of Challa Shuri at Level 100, which is the new Black Panther equipped with Vibranium Claws. At that, the special skin of the Doctor Doom for completing specific quests will be available later in the season. The price of the season’s Battle Pass in 950 V-Bucks and offers 1,500 V-Bucks in return, whereas the season itself looks like an essential part of the Fortnite’s evolving story.
