Fortnite Event Unveils New Disney and Marvel Content

Fortnite fans have a front-row seat as the current season reaches the climax in a mini event at the Leviathan Pipeline. The event is scheduled for August 10, 2024, at 7 PM BST, and will see the vengeful Doctor Doom put a stomp in Megalo Don’s plans. Overall, this event serves as the finale of the current season and a teaser of the next one, which is rumored to be dominated by Marvel themes. Additionally, the event is special as it coincides with Disney’s D23 livestream, which Fortnite characters will be participating in. Players joining the Disney Horizons livestream can do so through Fortnite starting at 3:30 AM BST on August 11. Also in store for the players include new items and rewards, such as the new Peelverine Plush Back Bling and special bonus XP.

The event will also introduce fans to a wide range of areas they can expect to explore in the future, especially with the gaming giant able to integrate other Disney and marvels franchises. The event, therefore, heralds more crossovers with the other franchises such as Avatar, Kingdom Hearts, Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles, and X-Men.
