Gosder Cherilus Arrested After Incident on Flight

One of the most recent incidents that occurred on board of Delta Air Lines flight who departed from Boston to Dublin was outrageous. Former NFL player, Gosder Cherilus was arrested for allegedly urinating on an elderly passenger when the aircraft was just one hour already in the sky. When the plane had to turn back to Boston Logan International Airport, in the state of Massachusetts, it was reported that Cherilus was slightly intoxicated and gave the police a hard time to ask him to disembark. Therefore, he was charged as being disorderly conduct, interfering with the operation of the flight, and resisting arrest. The first-round draft pick at the 2008 NFL draft by Detroit Lions, Cherilus, pleaded not guilty at an arraignment in the East Boston Municipal Court. He was released after paying a bond of $2,500 and will have to appear again at the same court on October 11. According to NBC Boston, the former offensive lineman from Benin, Africa, who stands 6-feet, 6-inches tall, weighing about 280-pounds, punched another elderly man and prompted panic among passengers and crew members. According to the Massachusetts State Police to apprehend Cherilus, two sets of handcuffs had to be used.

After the arrest, Cherilus released an apology on social media from an incident that he referred to as “nightmare on a plane.” He said that he took sleeping pills because the aircraft was delayed for four hours. “I had a strange reaction to these medicines which is not my way of living,” Cherilus later posted. “I don’t use bad words, and my two children can testify before anybody about how I treat my parents.” Delta Airlines have reiterated that they will not condone at any given time such unlawful behavior as reported by a passenger on this Sunday’s evening flight to Dublin, Ireland. Similarly, they have confirmed their continued cooperation with the law enforcers in the investigation of this unprecedented incident because it is one of their values that ensure that safety rules are observed.

The data from this data tell a lot about the extremely unbearably high levels of insecurity and safeties that are being demonstrated over airlines. The big take away from this incident is that people who are willing to fly should avoid taking any drugs because they are not sure of the resultant accompaniments that can cause serious insecurity, especially, if such an aircraft is having a hot high-profile personality. Having presented such a case means that both Peak Low and Delta Airlines are being negatively impacted if we read through the lines. My main fear is the federal probe because the aircraft has not yet reached its next destination in Canada. I believe consequently strong measures to be put in place to deter passengers from carrying drugs before their doctors must sign on them. Thereafter, this introduces a big debate for airlines on matters relating to passenger’s medication onboard and the consequences at this age time that might prompted the medication being taken by a carrier. In the meantime, Delta is on the line concerning future stringent measures to be put on flights because there is no reason for they were ever at its climax.
