Imane Khelif Triumphs in Olympic Boxing Victory

Algeria’s Imane Khelif has won her first Olympic gold medal in women’s boxing at the Paris Olympics. It is a victory that transcends the ring. In the gold medal contest, Khelif took on China’s Yang Liu, a two-time world champion, and defeated her in all three encounters. Her winning style was attributed to her effective side defenses and to her several correct punches. Despite having a tough road to victory, the IOC supported her. Additionally, IOC did a phenomenal job of avoiding all claims that Khelif is not a cis-gendered woman. Scientific evidence also contradicts the president of IBA’s absurd and unethical claims.
