Ina Garten Enjoys Peace in Her East Hampton Garden

Star chef Ina Garten has returned from the Paris Olympics and is happy to return to the peace and quiet of her garden in East Hampton, N.Y. She posted her delight in an Instagram post with a snapshot of her lush garden. The post’s caption reads, “Paris was great for the Olympics but it’s always good to be home. Have a great weekend everyone!” She also used the hashtags #hydrangea, #cleome, #verbenabonariensis, and #roses to draw attention to the garden’s beauty.

Of course, Garten, who is not only an author but also host of Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network, loves her garden. The famous cook always grows many herbs and vegetables there. And now, the former Secretary of the White House Office of Management and Budget seems to be returning to his favorite pastime.

Some time before the post, the celebrity cook and her husband Jeffrey became heroes of the cuisine of the French capital during the show on Today. They visited a special Paris food market and examined Ina’s favorite cheese shop. And at the end of his post, Garten joked: “Ina in Paris, not Emily in Paris.”
