Iran May Launch Attack on Israel with No Warning

At the recent virtual briefing, US National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby used particularly harsh words regarding the seriousness of concern with regards to the possibility that Iran may launch an attack on Israel any moment now. Amidst the increasing regional tensions, which only add to the fact that the source of the danger is unpredictable and may detonate any second, the US has doubled its military presence in the area in case one of the possible worst-case scenarios takes place. Special note is taken of the fact that, concurrently, the US is taking diplomatic activity, engaging in talks with Iran via third-party organizations, and, apparently, engaging in some manner of persuading the country not to push the red button.

One of the appeals for caution is made by the national security adviser. The overarching context is the current situation in Doha where the conflicting sides are negotiating a ceasefire and the resolution of the Gaza hostage situation. The world is at a standstill, holding their breath and clenching fists, as the potential for the conflict to erupt out of the blue remains exceptionally high.
