minnesota vikings suffered a big blow to their newly drafted quarterback J.J. McCarthy. As per reports, their newly drafted quarterback from Michigan, McCarthy suffered a right knee injury and will there miss his entire 2024 NFL season.

The reports were confirmed by the Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell. He stated that McCarthy suffered an injury on his knee during a practice session, where a series of medical tests followed, thereby prompting the surgery. According to O’Connell, J.J. was operated on his right knee meniscus repair, he stated that the results of the medical surgery revealed that they needed to carry out repairs of the right meniscus knee and that would mean, McCarthy will miss the rest of 2024 NFL season.

Sam Darnold is set to fill the big shoes left by McCarthy. Darnold has played for New York, before computersin addition to this, sam is entering his seventh season with the hope of clinching the National Football title. His first match will be against the New York Giants on September 8. This means that McCarthy and his fans will have to wait for next year for his debut season.
