Jakobi Meyers Progresses in Game with Hard Work

Per Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce, Jakobi Meyers is making major progress in his game. Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Pierce says Meyers has been “lights out” since the offseason. Teammates have also noticed Meyers’ maximum effort and hard work.

“I’ve played with him for five years, and I think being on the same team since New England, he’s one of the hardest-working guys in the NFL,” Kristian Wilkerson said. “He comes in and works harder than anybody, and his dream is to win a Super Bowl. He’s a low-key guy — doesn’t say too much — but every day he pushes people and pushes himself to get better, and it shows.”

So, how upstairs can Meyers climb up in the ranks with less than sub-par quarterback play? Not a lot. As mentioned in a previous article, more one-on-one matchups are present on the playing field for Meyers, which he usually wins due to his ability to be an elite route runner. With this skill set, he’ll have a permanent position on the Raiders’ depth chart as a reliable option.

KEVIN CARTER LANDIS, SI.com. In reality, he finished 26th among PPR receivers last year and is still being undervalued because of less than average quarterback play. As of right now, he’s WR56 in terms of redraft PPR ADP and WR58 in terms of best ball ADP. I believe this is an incredible benefit to take advantage of. The talent of this man should not be overlooked. On November 9th, he will turn 28 this year, providing an exceptional opportunity to be underrated in dynasty football leagues.
