Katy Perry Faces Investigation Over Unauthorized Video

Katy Perry is being watched by the Balearic Islands’ Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Natural Environment after publishing her latest music video for the song “Lifetimes” on August 8, 2021. An investigation has been inspired by the video since it has been shot without permission at the Ses Salines Natural Park, a protected area for the natural richness nearby Ibiza. The part that attracted official’s utmost disgust is where Katy walks on the natural beauty of the S’Espalmador dune system in Formentera.

The ministry stated in her address “ we are not facing an environmental crime, but for the park’s commercial use, it must have received previous authorization by this ministry”.

This is only a cherry on Katy Perry’s recent cake of happening mishaps. Being accused of hypocrisy, as a well-known singer has recently united with the long-time controversial producer Dr.Luke to create a song for women’s rights by Metro, now Katy is being investigated for nature pollution. What is more, the ongoing inspections process can harm pop-start’s career, as she was planning to start promotional activities for her new album “143” that is set for September 2021.
