Kevin King's Big Play Against Miami Dolphins

I feel like King really stepped up and made a huge play for us against the Miami Dolphins. He is competing for the CB2 job right now and he stepped up in a big way.

The Falcons got a big play from cornerback Kevin King in a key situation for the secondary. King is competing for the CB2 job opposite A.J. Terrell and he had a great interception against Miami Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson. Miami was targeting the pass for Washington, but King did a great job of jumping the route and reading the pass. The Falcons got the big-time interception on that play.

The background to this play seems particularly relevant because King performed excellently during the game. He has been targeted multiple times and he has showed poise during throughout these opporitunities. It looks more and more as if King is playing himself into the starting lineup. Initially, it appeared to be a two-horse battle but King is quickly playing himself into a starting job. It is a huge play for King because he is putting pressure on the Falcons coaching staff to get him on the field.
