Kurt Angle Disagrees With His TNA Nickname 'Perc Angle'

Kurt Angle, a prominent figure in professional wrestling, has expressed his disagreement with his nickname “Perc Angle,” which he was given during his turbulent years in TNA wrestling. While it was a time of amazing stunts that impressed the public, Angle was fighting his inner demons and severe addiction to pain killers.

As reported in a recent interview made on “Broken Skull Sessions” with Steve Austin, the wrestling legend never actually competed while using pain medication, although it was clearly tendency forming. Angle, also a WWE Hall of Famer, explained the importance of wrestling sober, as the risk of doing it while slightly impaired was too high.

His tremendous career marked by numerous championships was full of struggles with injury and grievance on his sister’s death. While people continue to circulate his videos of stunning stunts, his words are a reminder of what the price for entertainment is and how much a person needs to withstand to deliver the performance being on top of their problems.
