Larry Ellison Acquires Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa

Larry Ellison, the co-founder of Oracle, has made another significant purchase of a Florida hotel, Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. The latter is located in Manalapan, a wealthy region located just south of Palm Beach. Eau Palm Beach has a long and storied history going back to the 1950s, when it opened as La Coquille Club. Several years later, the resort became the Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach and was rebranded for the final time in the previous decade.

The site was home to many famous families, from the Vanderbilts to the Rockefellers, and offers such exclusive attractions as the historic La Coquille Club with its “fine dining and beautiful receptions”. Thanks to its renowned Eau Spa, the property receives the Forbes Five-Star Resort rating every year. With $ 159.8 billion in excess, Ellison, who is recognized as the world’s seventh-richest man, is investing more and more in objects of such value. As recently as 2022, he acquired a 22-acre estate in Manalapan, making it the highest-priced residential property sale in Florida’s history.
