Liam Gallagher hints at historic Oasis reunion at Wembley

In a shocking recent development in the world of music, Liam Gallagher, in a bid to stir up further reunion commotion, seems to have hinted towards a series of gigs that might go down in concert history. Music insiders have revealed that there are being ten nights on hold at Wembley Stadium, which would surpass the record of eight nights set by Taylor Swift’s recent concert, scheduled for next summer. The music prowess of the Gallagher brothers is bound to generate over £400 million worth of tour revenue!

The estranged Gallagher brothers were last seen together in 2009, subsequently marked by a backstage brawl when Noel Gallagher finally decided to part ways from the band. But monetary behoof and a heartfelt desire to reconcile seems to have been at play in drawing Noel Gallagher back towards his little brother Liam. The reported £50 million deal has pulled the brothers close to one another after seven-long years of separation. Further, the expense divorce of £20 million that Noel has had to power through, might have induced him to soften his stand in renewing bonds with Liam.

The issue here is not whether John Wojcik and Steve Anderson are paid volume royalties. The festival to be held at Wembley is fitting given that it is the 30th ceremony of the band’s first album, ‘Definitely maybe’. Along with this, Liam Gallagher seems to be generating much anticipation among fans by performing songs and hits that are directed towards his big brother when he performs. The surprise date and time projected during the Reading Festival during Liam’s performance also suggests that an official announcement is waiting to be made.

Apart from reigniting their sound and shoes for their existing and loyal fan base, Oasis revival could also offer a new sound to the generation that has missed seeing these brothers paint the world of music in a different hue. Additionally, the selection of venues such as Wembley and maybe even Glastonbury seems to be a tactful, strategic move given the commercial demand and legacy these places behold in British musical history. This could partially explain Noel’s seemingly critical remarks regarding the organically changing festival and its new cord. Moreover, the concentrative swarm of excitement drafted the prospect of barring the Gallagher brothers. But on a personal note, would it not be wise to contemplate on these mega reunions? Is it always worth it? If success, then will this reunion event pass as “real” given that the driving factor is 50 million pounds? Can Liam and Noel really “ keep Up with the Joneses after this?
