Morgan Wallen Headlines Concerts at Neyland Stadium

The home of the Tennessee Volunteers football team, Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee, is set to host two of the hottest events of the year. Country music star Morgan Wallen, the singer of the best selling “Dangerous: The Double Album” is set to headline the concert of September 20th and have a repeat performance on September 22nd. These concerts are sure to be experienced by tons of people, as Neyland Stadium is also the artist’s hometown. The artist will be joined by the opening acts ERNEST and HARDY. Both these opening acts have had a great summer on the charts, and in 2020, they performed leading up to Wallen with the same act. Finally, all three of these opening acts have worked with Post Malone who might make a surprise appearance at these concert. Even if Post Malone is too busy for the upcoming concerts, his relationship with the performing acts is a strong topic of conversation that will contribute to the anticipation of the event.

ERNEST will be the first to open for the country music star with his 40-minute honky-tonk styled rock and acoustic songs. The artist has written many songs on Wallen’s debut album and both artists share the No. 1 hit “Cowgirls.” In addition, ERNEST is also linked to Post Malone and is featured as a songwriter on all the country songs from “F-1 Trillion,” Post Malone’s hypothetical country album.

Only after the ERNEST 1-hour slot will the Middle Tennessee State Student HARDY take the stage. His rock and roll opening act is sure to be appreciated by the country and non-country music attendees. In one of his recent singles “Hide My Guns” the artist sings “Call my boy Post Malone, yeah, he know I got one for him, ready on his way from home,” further consolidating the ties between the main two performers, opening act ERNEST, and Post Malone.

Door will open for the events at 5 p.m. and closes at 6:30. So the start time is definitely 6:30. Fans will be able to buy VIP tickets, or they can hit up the resale of some of these still available.
