Mount Etna Eruption Showcases Stunning Lava Display

Europe’s tallest and most active Sicily’s volcano, Mount Etna, blasted this week, showing an outburst of stunning lava and ash. While the phenomenon might bring danger to people’s living environment, Italy’s Civil Protection service still kept of the alert status in the area at green. The event showed up this week at the 3,300-meter-high volcano and caused its slopes to be swept with rivers of lava flowing down mindlessly. Due to the exceptional nature of the event, the outburst is still considered to be one of characteristic ones to the volcano.

The situation at present calls for close observation of the mountain’s activity and similarly close supply of the surrounding territory with certain alert systems. Yet, if the circumstances call, there will be a need in most severe precautions from its forces. While the situation concerning the volcano heats up, it serves as an important reminder of the instability of geological activity and changes that might occur eventually or immediately.
