The Minnesota Lynx had an awesome performance against the reigning champions, the Las Vegas Aces, not only making to 20 wins in a season for the first time since 2017, but also, making their record untouchable. The Lynx shooting percent was their season high, netting 59.4 percent of their shot. To add on the list, they also recorded a 57.9 percent performance from the three-point land. Consequently, they were able to make 28 assists, a clear indication of how they were able to play as team, moving, passing and shooting the ball with grace, fluidity and precision. Furthermore, the phenomenal performance of Courtney Williams, the Lynx’s point guard, was of great important as she made significant impact towards a final score of 98 against the Aces 87 points. Williams made 10 assists and a total of seven rebounds, not to mention her ballet performance in tights, which kept of the Aces move away as they came close towards the end.

Generally, the offensive performance of the Lynx was impeccable, with all the five starters making the double figures point. Therefore, the depth of the team was evidently better than that of the Aces, which saw them suffer at the hands of the new acquisition, Myisha Hines-Allen, as she starts coming off the bench.

In conclusion, the Aces did not have all their chances of wining washed away as their Jackie Young and Kelsey Plum. The two Aces players scored a total of 26 and 20 points respectively, but the impeccable performance by the Lynx out shadowed their performance. On that note, it is worth admitting that the Lynx’s performance was a displacement from naturally defensive technique of the Aces, but not threatening the other teams. The Lynx not only did the best achieve their target, but they also changed the history of the America’s favorite sport, as teams will now be pushed to shooting the ball to higher percentages and assisting as a team in order to succeed. Additionally, they also embraced their future opportunities to win the next match against the Aces in flight to Minnesota for the coming match. Overall, the Lynx performance was fantastic and worth acknowledgement.
