disney california adventure, as part of its offering, is expanding its already immersive experiences. Among the new attractions announced at the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Pixar’s Coco and the entire “Avatar” series will become the part of the park’s landscape and imaginativeness. Not all attractions will be available right now, as some of them are to open in the mid-2020s.

I think that the most remarkable attraction to come is Coco. Inspired by both the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean this is “a dark ride, only good.” Promising to use cutting-edge Audio-Animatronics, the ride will be vivid and colorful, which is especially relevant for “Coco”, known for its flamboyant atmosphere. What is more, given the musical component of the film, the ride will be a tour through the captivating narration which will have a form of song.

The other attraction is new “Avatar” land to be constructed in California Adventure. What sets this apart from the original land in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is that the latter is based solely on the first film, “Pandora – The World of Avatar”. Contrarily, the California “Avatar” land will focus on the oceanic world of the “Avatar: The Way of Water, and the other films that follow. The land promises to be a fully responsive and highly emotional one as it will play to the strength which is the awesome magnificence of the Avatar universe.

The new attractions are bound with the broader Disneyland Resort celebration of 70 years which is marked by something entirely new and groundbreaking for the experience of its guests.
