New Family-Friendly Rides at Magic Kingdom Announced

Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is about to become even more magical with two new “Cars” based attractions. First in line is the rugged outdoor-style racing ride that promise to take the visitors through several mountains and terrains, including the promised geyers and mudholes. The Disney-promise fun additions feel fitting to the style of Mater, the tow truck in the “Cars” series whose adventured often take deep down the rural, muddy roads. As the Disney-promise blog puts it, this is a family-type of ride, perfect for “families looking for a pretty good but family-friendly time.”

Second up is another family-friendly ride that, even with the exact information on what will happen yet to come, is described as “fun for all ages,” again by the blog post,. That is, ensuring the road is truly as suitable for family with toddlers as it is for those with tough longue kids. Construction of the new attraction and surrounding area is set to start in early 2025. As the Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro puts it, the attractions “channels the thrill of the American West”.
