NewDad Excited for Electric Picnic Performance

NewDad, the Galway band from London that captured the hearts of many with their debut album Madra, is about to bring down Electric Picnic with their performance. As Hot Press Hot for 2024 cover stars, the band is excited and giddy about coming back to Ireland and taking the biggest stage of the best festival in the country.

Julie Dawson, the lead singer and guitarist of the band, shared quite a bit about their preparation and the excitement that unites all the musicians. “It’s special because we have our own show and get to play in this festival atmosphere, especially here in Ireland where the crowd really knows us,” – Dawson said.

The band strives to keep their performances lively and exciting for the audience, and there is no surprise, that they have a few tricks up their sleeve and refuse to share the secrets just yet. However, NewDad also took part in the Re-turn festival initiative to get drinks in reusable bottles and cans, which is commendable.

The festival-goers can count on a performance that outmatches what they saw at the last Irish festival. NewDad is different from the last time, and they are about to prove it.
