Olympic Flag Journey Ends with Venice Beach Concert

The Olympic flag’s journey from Paris to Los Angeles was an opportunity to organize a massive concert on the beach at Venice Beach on May 15, 2028. The focus of the event was on showing the city’s readiness for the upcoming Olympics, as is always the case for such ceremonies. However, the grandeur of the concert amply displayed the city’s rich cultural life, as well as the artists’ depth of unity with this bustling and artistic city.

The concert opened with the Red Hot Chili Peppers playing “Can’t Stop” in the sun and with Venice Beach in the back. The atmosphere in the air was electrifying, and the performance only enhanced this feeling. It was followed by Billie Eilish playing “Birds of a Feather” with her brother Finneas — two artists that are deeply connected to the city through music. The pass of the flag itself was spectacular in fairly similar ways in Paris and in Venice Beach: first by bike, then by car.

At Venice Beach, the flag was passed by Tom Cruise to the local athletes on the sands. Then, simply put, the Venice Beach was also declared open for the global cultural and athletic festivities, which by that time could hardly be a surprise to anyone.
