Pedro Grifol Under Massive Scrutiny Amid Sox's Woes

The Chicago White Sox are currently experiencing one of the most historically bad seasons they have ever had, with Pedro Grifol as their manager who may have been hired with the intention of fostering some of the cultures. However, as the Sox’s season continues to go horribly south with no sign of things getting better, Grifol is now under massive scrutiny. The record is 27-88, with a 21-game losing streak, which is also an American League record, various abuses of baseball rules, and intentional walks against position players. In other words, every facet of management is under question, with the challenges ranging from no talent to talent mismanagement, from poorly making the decisions on the field to their off the field ones, and yet Grifol’s leadership is the most severe under scrutiny.

Grifol’s managerial record is .318 winning percentage through 277 games, placing him fourth to last on Baseball Reference’s all time list of managers who debuted after 1900. The Interview continued viral critique, with Frank Thomas on NBC Sports Chicago, via Ragaini, declaring their issues were way past effort. Essentially, the approaches need to be revamped if the White Sox are to maintain their standings and salvage their season.
