Remembering Regan L. Martins, Newington's Shining Star

The town of Newington, Connecticut, mourns the loss of Regan L. Martins, “our shining star”. The world has lost the life of January 6, 2022, and left us his mischievous and boundless kindness on August 9, 2024. She was undoubtedly a once-in-a-lifetime girl who made everyone happy. Family was supervised by Rui and Theresa, and was her active member. She was studying in the Newington Children’s Theatre Company, but not only fulfilled the audiences but also was the one to be a powerhouse and a vibrancy. She had an amazingly beautiful voice and was also a part of some choirs. Regan also and helped the world and served at the company as a Girl Scout. Her family, including loving sisters, Morgan, Peyton, Brooklyn, and brother Declan, and her favorite dog Roxy, will forever remember the wind of joy and love that she brought. And, her family hopes that her light never fades, which is why they founded a scholarship in Regan’s honor to support young artists in performing arts. The funeral services will take place in St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church in Hartford, Connecticut, and she will be rested at West Meadow Cemetery in Newington. The short-lived life of the young Regan L. Martins will be remembered by the community of a sunny little girl who has made each of us happy.
