Rookie QB Daniels Impresses Jets' Gardner in Practice

During the joint practice of the washington commanders and the New York Jets, the rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels caught the attention of Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner. As the opponent teams were practicing together, there was a friendly but intense rivalry that allowed Daniels to show his potential as an NFL player in his first season.

One of the tops on defense, Gardner, addressed Daniels, “You’re going to be real good”, which was met positively by Jets head coach Robert Saleh, too. Despite the weather conditions providing discomfort, Daniels completed almost a half of his passes. In the meanwhile, several plays made by Daniels provided hope that this season’s campaign #RAISEHAIL by the Commanders may be fruitful.

As the teams are now preparing for the preseason game on Saturday, it will remain to see whether the achievements of the practice field may be repeated in an official game by Daniels.
