Ryan Reynolds Admits to Leaking Deadpool Footage

In a twist of events, while promoting “Deadpool & Wolverine,” Ryan Reynolds finally admits to leaking the 2012 Deadpool test footage. The confession was made during a Vanity Fair lie detector test, where his friend Hugh Jackman, kept asking him form of the truth. Despite taking Reynolds some time in agreeing to it, he eventually confesses to the leak. This movie has continued to be the talk in the entertainment industry.

The leak, popularly known as “Poolgate,” made headlines in 2014. It was an almost 4-minute Deadpool action scene, which shook the internet, prompting 20th Century Fox to greenlight the first Deadpool movie. As such, the illegal move led to the unlocking of a multibillion-dollar franchise that has become one of the company’s most valuable assets. This particular incident also helped in the subsequent admission of 20th Century Fox by Disney. However, it is highly unlikely that Reynolds will face any legal consequences due to his great value to the franchise.
