STARLUX and Alaska Airlines Launch Seattle-Taipei Service

A substantial expansion in U.S. services was recently announced by STARLUX Airlines in collaboration with Alaska Airlines as the two companies’ new non-stop service from Seattle to Taipei took off. This trip, available three times per week, is a significant boost to oneworld’s connectivity of more than 100 U.S. cities for passengers traveling on Alaska. There is no doubting the carrier’s dedication to connecting the dots between both continents with such recent international growth. Likewise, such an expansion is advantageous for the oneworld alliance, particularly in regards to travel in the Asia Pacific region.

The Airbus A350 is used for the services, each of which features four class services aimed to improve each passenger’s relatively long 6,000+ mile voyage. Travelers may expect exquisite services and attention to depth through the addition of premium amenities, including Michelin-starred foods and in-cabin aroma therapy.
