Steelers Face Tough Choice Between Wilson and Fields

This season brings the pittsburgh steelers an interesting quarterback situation, where both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields want to lead. At first, Wilson was believed to get the start but a calf injury caused him to miss most of the time in the training camp. Thus, Fields had a display time which, according to Adam Schefter on The Pat McAfee Show, went pretty well. Even though Wilson still leads the ‘pole position,’ as reported by NFL insider, Fields has been ‘better and better every practice, and they love the guy. Currently, people within the organization feel very good about Fields.

Still, with Wilson getting back to the performance field, competition is expected to get better. According to Mike Tomlin, starting will be decided by the best performance. Steelers fans are in for an interesting and stressful situation. This case is far more than just about who gets to be the quarterback of the future. It will be about who can and will handle the pressure and perform better. Considering that it is going to be a rookie and a new player, most likely starting for one of the most famous teams in the history of American football, it is going to take much resilience and focus.
