Steve Ballmer to Unveil Intuit Dome with Star-Studded Event

Steve Ballmer, the chairman of Los Angeles Clippers, is to present the opening of the team’s new home arena, the Intuit Dome, utilizing a grand opening that mixes sports, entertainment, and celebrity appearances. The event is to take place on Thursday in Inglewood, California, and feature an interactive ribbon-cutting ceremony with Ballmer and the chief executive officer of Halo Sports and Entertainment, Gillian Zucker, who is the president of business operations with the Clippers.

Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts, Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard, and head coach Tyronn Lue are among the invited guests. Actress Sophia Bush is expected on the first-ever red carpet, as the new sports and concert space demonstrates its crossover appeal. Meanwhile, the event is going to be capped by a performance by the Grammy-winning recording artist Bruno Mars, his first Los Angeles show since 2018.

The Clippers shared the Crypto.com Arena in downtown LA and spent $2 billion on the Intuit Dome, featuring state-of-the-art facilities including a whopping 1,100 toilets and urinals.
