Tank Dell Scores in High-Stakes Game Despite Team Loss

It was a pass five. Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Tank Dell. In attempts to steal the pass, the opponent’s linebacker failed to get to the ball thrown into the endzone by a running passer. Tank Dell went to meet the pass and easily caught it. In general, the actions of the selected receiver seemed somewhat hesitant, Tank missed an element of aggressiveness in the selection. Probably, the running velocity of the quarterback was not expected. Nevertheless, Dell’s route was almost perfect, as he did his best in the adjustment to the forward and slightly on the left and, thus, the ball went to the endzone.

At the end of the day, Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud threw a 34- yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Tank Dell for 6 points. This touchdown did not save the team from defeat since they lost to the opponent with a score of 42:34. It should also be noted that from a strategic point of view, quick long passes are an effective way to achieve maximum results, especially if such high targets as Tank Dell receive them. It is likely that along with the undeveloped teamwork and the absence of instant protection of the ball near the endzone, this fact may have lost the Houston game.
