The Hartford Community Mourns the Loss of Antwan Milton

The Hartford community is sad to inform about the death of Antwan D. “Googe” Milton, who died at the age of 36 on Sunday, August 4th, 2024. Child of Joseph A. Milton and Dawn Googe, born on August 26, 1987, Antwan was a father, son, and brother to be always remembered.

Graduated from the East Hartford High School, he continued to carry love for the game of football through his life, and he could always be found on the bleaches with his children cheering for any game. With an infectious smile and a goodwill attitude which touched everyone lucky to know him, this man will always be remembered as a happy and playful person. Antwan’s son, Antwan “AJ” Milton, Jr., daughter August Milton, and the youngest daughter Aubrey Milton, will carry on his spirit for love as known to his friends and family.

Besides his children, this cheerful man leaves to mourn his death his father, Joseph “Joe” Milton, and a host of relatives and wonderful friends who will never forget his kindness. The Hartford Police Department mourns the loss of such a dedicated officer, who was always in service to his community and his family. R.
